George
Yuhasz is currently employed by the Middlesex County Vocational
Technical School System in East Brunswick. He has served well in
their sports department as Varsity Soccer Coach from 1980 to 2000
and also as Varsity Basketball Coach from 1986 to 1988.
Mr. Yuhasz was the founder of Pack #784
(Handicapped Scouting); past Festival Director of Hand in Hand (a
festival for the mentally challenged); member of Kappa Delta Pi
Education Honor Society; Soccer Coach of the Year for the Gold Division
Greater Middlesex County Conference for 1987, 1988 and 1990; coached
the 1990 NJ Vo-Tech State Championship team; Founder and President
of F.A.T.H.E.R.S. Inc. in 1993; Member of the National Education
Association and NJ Education Association; Member of the Middlesex
County Vocational Education Association; Selected to Who's Who Among
America's Educators in 1992; and Elder for the First Hungarian Reformed
Church of Carteret.
Additionally, George was past President
of the Colonia Democratic Club, Founder-President of R.E.A.C.H.,
Inc., elected Middlesex County Committee person Ward 5-11th District,
Vice-president of the Middlesex Hungarian Democratic Organization
and member of the Mayor's Advisory Committee for Woodbridge Township.
Mr. Yuhasz has a B.A. in Special EducationTeacher
of the Handicapped. He attended and graduated from Columbia University,
New York. He holds a NJ state Principal-Supervisor certificate and
has received an M.A.-Ed. from Teachers College at Columbia University
Graduate School and Doctoral candidate status.
